Painting does not necessarily evoke the tactical quality of the world but produces an existence to something invisible which can be believed. That which I see becomes the core of the vision which the painting evokes. I interrogate the world with my eyes in order to understand the nature of what it is. By using the visible language of light, shadows and colour, the real world reveals itself in its existential quality.
I don’t ask reality to be such and such a thing but observe what it is composed of through the visible. I observe the visible in order to find the invisible within. The world responds to me by unveiling what it is composed of in terms of vision.
I do not ‘know’ the world as the scientist envisions it. My role is to capture what is making itself seen within myself. In this sense I can talk about inspiration. Taking what emanates from reality, painting is like a birth of inspiration.[whohit]-Think in Painting_VI_EN-[/whohit]
Mi piace il commento che hai fatto sulla pittura, molto suggestivo e mi sembra di ritrovare ciò che dici nei tuoi quadri. Molto bella la visione del foro romano.
Di nuovo GRAZIE Giovanni!
